Founder, Chrissy Fichtl started making soap as a hobby on a farm in New York. She used raw materials from the gardens and essential oils, sent to her from a friend in Europe with notes that read "to my little apothecary".
An apothecary for all — APOTHEKE was born. Chrissy tried her luck at farmers markets with raw and unwrapped soaps but soon did so well that she brought her goods to Brooklyn.
Her team grew and so did her passion — to bring elevated home fragrance to everyone through simple yet beautiful moments.
APOTHEKE continues to stay true to its New York roots. This year they opened up its fully operational factory, offices, and Flagship store in Red Hook, Brooklyn. A full immersive experience that celebrates the spirit of the city and the people that make it home - a place that welcomes all.
